My group did Sortie the other day and after waiting in the line to enter, our Ionis buff had wore off.

Without the Ionis buff we were unable to clear all of Sortie.
SE can you please raise the duration of Ionis.

i think you should go back to town and refresh ionis if it wears off. it's pretty important.

Should also amend an adjustment along to both Ionis and Sanction by having the benefit of increased HP gain and no TP loss while resting

If it actually took you three hours to queue for Sortie, that should make it clear that Asura is overcrowded, as most other servers you can get in within seconds.
