View Full Version : [Suggestion] New Hand-to-Hand weapons with slashing and piercing

If new 119 Hand-to-Hand weapons that deals slashing and piercing damage for both regular attacks and weapon skills were added, then Monk and Puppetmaster would be more welcomed into Odyssey segment farming, or even more Sheol Gaol NM fights.

Any weapon that does alternative damage such as Vampirism, Demersal Degen, or Vampiric Claws has always done the native type during WSs, and should continue to do so.
Different damage types emphasize a use in rotating different jobs in and out of content. Rather than focusing on applying MNK to everything in this case. Since, no one is going to apply PUP to everything even if it did piercing for both.
This idea is is fine for white damage, but poor for weapon skills, and thus shouldn't be implemented for them. If anything giving PUP unique weapons like this and not MNK would be more balanced.

Mine is in line with the reality of historical design choices in the game as well as more considerate towards balance. Yours is just asking for more stuff.

There is much I disagree with Spicy on, but he has far more credibility than someone whose response to a counterargument is "my idea is better than yours."
