Yell / auto translate isnt being displayed

no idea why this keeps happening after the update.
completely hides my and other posts and hides all the auto translate commands. I cant even find groups in yell chat.

Working fine over here on Shiva. If you're using any things you shouldn't be using, stop using them to check for interference.

Running the game normally. Had a few issues before servers went down with having to reset my DNS router cus the game would load me in after disconnecting while zoning. Might have to reinstall the game or something to fix this.

Before re-installing, it might be a good idea to try ye good olde file check. Well, rather checks, since there are two now that seem to do things a bit differently, although maybe only the new one is enough.

There are the ones for PlayOnline Viewer and FFXI in the PlayOnline Viewer main menu/start screen, and then there is one that can be triggered from the config utility, under the 'Other' tab.

I have seen one check pick up issues while the other didn't, but I forget the details.

I'd imagine the one triggered via the config utility would be very complete, being kind of new from when they overhauled the utility a bit a while back, but I have a feeling that was what missed the issue that the PlayOnline Viewer one picked up... but I'm not entirely sure now.
