The PlayOnline.com website has pages dedicated to particular FFXI expansion packs, such as:

Chains of Promathia: http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/promathia/index.html
Abyssea add-ons: http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/addon/
Seekers of Adoulin: http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/adoulin/index.html

These pages contain information on settings, characters, enemies and locations that, to my knowledge, are not available anywhere else.

In contrast, the following pages are currently effectively blank:

Treasures of Aht Urhgan: http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/ahturhgan/entrance/
Add-on Scenarios: http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/addon/scenario/entrance/
Wings of the Goddess: http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/altana/entrance/

These pages at one time did include a lot of information on their respective expansions/add-ons, but these pages relied heavily on Adobe Flash. With the removal of Adobe Flash content from the website overall, this information is currently not available.

Well there are flash emulators that make these pages viewable. But I doubt anyone at SE is in a rush to modernize any of their old web pages using Flash.
