hello i got a level 99 mnk and i cannot unlock smn job. i have 0 quest open in windurst and have farmed a carbuncle ruby. there is no c/s when i click on the house of heros

is the ruby in your inventory or is it somewhere else like a mog sack, etc. this quest was programmed for the first expansion and we didnt have all the optional storage.

The ruby needs to be in your main inventory, make sure it's there and not in your safe/satchel/sack/locker/case (But for late rparts of the quest being in another bag is okay)

Also if you have other quests active that involve the House of the Hero you may not be able to initiate the quest.

There's not really any other reason I can find that you wouldn't be able to activate it. Summoner is not an expansion job and even if you were missing all expansions you would still be able to get the quest.
