Could not attack leech in Zeruhn Mines

Was exping in Zeruhn Mines and killing Veindigger Leech and 3 of them linked and started to attack me, I used my 2hr to survive the attack and manage to get down to the last one and then this error message popped up and I could not attack it, despite it still attacking me.

Unable to target the Veindigger Leech. You have not received the level cap status.
