Please add a way to do original content synced, specially missions from the original expansions and Champaign. Currently, thanks to the level sync status the battlefield imposes (without syncing at all), there is no way for the players to deliberately sync with each other if the way to (say, synchronize everyone's level to the lowest of the group).

Give players the option to do all the old missions synchronized if they so want to, please. It's really a no brainer function and even FFXIV gets it right.

Plenty of people I know would love to do old content synchronized and help new players do it for the very first time in a non steamrollable trivialized way (having some actual fun and challenge).

So, at the very least, remove the level synchronization buff effect when inside mission battlegrounds, or better yet: give players the option (and maybe some extra rewards for everyone, even job points for lvl99 players, etc.) to do old content properly synchronized to the original intended level (maybe even with the option to do it at the minimum required level and the recommended level).

Giving the players options is ALWAYS a good thing.

Yes, I think this should be an important priority. You have people who pick this game up just to do the storyline and the story is incredibly cheapened when you can simply one shot every single boss encounter. A simple questions, like you do for viewing cutscenes, to allow people to force their level to be syncd to the original fights level cap. This would mainly work up until the final WOTG fights, perhaps there you can make it non-ilevel capped somehow. At the least this should be done for all capped battlefields, this way people can use their trusts and while it would still be easy it would be better than one shotting the mob.

Indeed, it's such a basic feature...

Really breaks the game and the whole story and immersion and one steamrolls trough what is supposed to be an epic fight. Makes everything trivial and the really diminishes the quality of the original content and story (which would otherwise be great).

Where can one place such suggestions / requests for it to be heard by the developers? Any idea?

You are suppose to post ideas here, but everyone knows SE doesn't read the NA side of forums. Maybe if you google translate into JP and post it on their side of the site.

Indeed, they should give the English part of the forum some love and attention too, at least from time to time to see what are the current player demands and wishes for the game...

I believe SE does read this. I just can't tell because no good evidence available and probably never will. Just not 100% guaranteed.

Your doing fine so don't worry.

It would be a start, and maybe an alternative way to quench the need for classic servers somewhat (for a while at least). Having good rewards for older players to do original content with first time players SYNCHRONIZED, and better rewards for new time players to do so too, with either trustes or players... playing synchronized should always be the better option, most rewarding one.

Would also love some minimal effort from Square Enix into allowing a 'Minimum Item Level Requirement' sort of community to flourish inside FFXI.
