Coelestrox no offering reforge of Artifact Armor +3

After killing Gin NM at Omen Coelestrox npc doesnt offert to me the posibility of reforging my Artifact Armor from +2 to +3 as is supossed he has to do.

My only way for obtaining it now is asking here for solving the problem.

Note that upgrades from +2 to +3 require trading items in 2 separate steps. The first step is to trade the +2 equipment, Paragon Job Cards, and the Scale item to Coelestrox. After that, you will be asked to spend beads, then trade the synthesis materials in a separate step. If you try to trade all of the items together it will not work.

Can you confirm you are trading only the correct items for the first step?

Thanke you for trying to help me Positron.
Problem is NPC, after killing Gin, doesnt offert to me to upgrade to +3 and only mantains offert for upgrading +2 armor.
Despite this I traded him the items you mention for first step and he only answered to me about the job cards, offering the change to other job cards at the 1/10 rate.
I called GM and he said to me for doing this post in official forums in buggs section.
Hope SE could solve this soon.

if you don't want them to ignore your bug report, I suggest you follow their rules. Edit your first post into the format they actually might read. They have a sticky post in /in-game bugs/


I'm a bit curious as I didn't even know there WAS a lock on that NPC offering +3 upgrades. Have you done the Records of Eminence: Content > Content (Omen) > Subjugation: Gin?

Thanke you Voidstorm. I thought this post was what the GM said to me I had to do at Buggs section. I'll look about the way you say is stablished.
For upgrading to +2 you have to do an Omen run and for upgrading to +3 you have to do an Omen 5th floor battle. FFXIclopedia doesnt say is necesary a win.:
"Coelestrox:
Only offers to upgrade Reforged Artifact Armor +1 to +2 if the player has participated at least once in Omen
Only offers to upgrade Reforged Artifact Armor +2 to +3 if the player has participated at least once in a 5th floor boss fight inside Omen".
And yes, I did the quest "Subjugation: Gin" when killed it.

This might seem like an odd question but did you previously upgrade an artifact armor to +2?
(I might be mistaken but I think you can obtain such items from the mog bonanza, so it may be possible to have not gone through the normal item creation process.)
I'm honestly not sure about this, it's just a shot in the dark as I have not done Omen myself, I've only done relic and empyrean upgrades.

Thanke you for posting your idea Alhanelem but my character Urko has full pillager equipment upgraded to +2 already in quest way. He wanted to obtain pillager's poulains +3 for <flee>ing like the wind even being a Galka as you, but Altana didnt blessed him an SE hasn't resolved this bug yet. </cry>

Edited. Is now August, 2th and still the bug is no fixed from June. (After killing Gin npc doesnt give option to reforge to +3 armour.)
