Stop posting a link to the actual news! Put it back the way it was when we could actually get the news in POL and not have to find some computer to come to this stupid site to read what is actually happening. The way you have changed it is very lazy and extremely frustrating!:mad:

Actually, it reminds me of the fail FFIX(ff9) guide that was released where every page said "If you want to find out more, go to playonline".

I think the reason they started posting the news on the forums is due to POL limitatons. POL has a maximum amount of characters they can post, limited text editor software, and older data eventually gets bumped off the listing making it hard for people to find what they are looking for pertaining to specific data.

They could (and should) post it on both. I think they're just posting links to make the forum more popular.
If anything, they should give us clickable links.

I agree, while I do read the forms I enjoyed reading new info in POL as well. Really should be posted in both. It is a bit of a pain considering you can't cut and past the link.

I never argued that and it doesn't invalidate my point. And it still doesn't mean OP even owns a PC.

I would argue that somebody who doesn't have a computer yet finds time to play FFXI has bigger problems than not being able to read updates.
