odessey is fun but only getting to do it once every 20hours is rediculous alot of us endgame players dont have much else to do in the game after we max out ambuscade for the month and our daily odessey and the limited time roe

and no domain invasion dont count unless u building an aeonic otherwise that is only once a day and last 10mins and now delve is barely worth doing since those materials are only around 400-500k each and dynamis D is only every 3days so ya we need some kind of end game content we can spam for hours each day with no downtime

I know 'community service' isn't so high on everyone's list and there is no obligation to do so, but maybe consider assisting other players with content?

Helping others with Vagary for Empyrean unlocks, Ambuscade, HTBF, Omen, etc. will help that population catch-up and encourage creation of new content, keep subscriptions up, create a larger pool of players you can group up with in the future. Yes, it is hard when you help people and they leave later on, but there are those few that stick around!

Those time gates exist to get you to do a variety of things instead of grind one piece of content into oblivion as fast as possible.

Without any wait, content would be completed in hours, and then you'd quit because its too easy and quick to obtain everything.

20HOURS is still too rediculous for a wait for what u actually get to do in there or a compromise would be at least let u get to do sheol gaol with holding only one mogolophone II instead of 3 since each battle only takes one anyways and most PUG only do one boss anyways then end due to lack of planning or someone doesnt have enough alternate jobs so then the party ends because of 1 item out of 3 used so u gotta wait 20hours AGAIN plus u gotta farm segments again first just to have that 3rd item

Now, the longer the wait time, typically the more substantiative the content is. i.e. dynamis is once every three days, but it's a thing that takes hours. Odyssey battles are just a small twist on walk of echoes, which aren't the shortest things but aren't really long either.

Wait times have a purpose. That said, I think you should only use up your run for the day when you're successful, i.e. if you wipe/die you should be able to try again until you finish.

It's an online game, the wait time is so others can do it while you're locked out.

In games like this a handful of people can dominate the content and disallow anyone else doing it.

Well, usually it's just so you can't consume the content too quickly. But in the case of Dynamis, what you say is true since the area has a capacity. But it was more true of the original dynamis when only one team was able to occupy the area at a time. Many servers had groups collaborating on a weekly schedule just to deal with it lol. Those were the days...

I think it's already been mentioned but to be honest there really isn't much to odyssey. I see why it's time gated.
