In order to unlock mentor status, you have to complete certain records of eminence objectives, up through "Repelling an Ambuscade" in the Tutorial -> Intermediate category. After doing that and speaking to the NPC you spoke to above, you'll be given an RoE objective as he describes.

If you're like me, you may not have done some / any of these. I had to do the three skirmish ones in order to get access to the ambuscade one (even though i've done tons of ambu like everyone else)

Mentor coordinator: 20+ Combat (Wide Area) objectives, 40+ Combat (Region) objectives, 30+ Content objectives, and 10+ Achievements objectives.

After completing this RoE return and talk with an A.M.A.N. Recruiter.

and i still can not get the quest started so there is something i am missing a prerequired quest.

i have completed all the objectives that were layed out in front of me for years and i can not redue 10+ achievements because there are no achievements left for me because it all done and grayed out as well as most of the 30+ content i wish Square enix thought of this situation before even making the change i believe there is a bug if it requires to be done again then reset the +10 achiements as well as 30+ content and combat region objectives as well as wide area

It looks like you're missing some objectives, still, as suggested.

Take a look under the Tutorial/Intermediate Records of Eminence objectives.

If you have nothing undone under there, please do tell us what is listed there so we'll have some more information to work with. :]

anyway, as I said, you are missing some RoE objectives. It is not just "play for X hours" anymore. You have to complete most of the Tutorial -> Intermediate RoE Objectives, up through "Repelling an Ambusscade." Then talk to the NPC. Complete the objective he gives, then talk to the NPC again. I don't know about any of that other stuff you wrote, but that is what is described in the official manual here, since I don't know where you got the link you gave:

I don't just feel or think the information I provided is pertienent, it is the correct information. I did not provide the link you have in your post above, I provided a different one which is correct. I also described the steps to become a mentor in my post and that information is correct. If you're going to continue to disregard it, then nobody here can help you, as the information I provided is correct.

The only possible explanation at this point is you're playing the wrong game and / or posting on the wrong forum.

posted here and was bashed not once but 7 times. placed a GM report no one responds.
called Square Enix support line (858)790-7529. I was then told to report to GM- Game Masters again with ticket number and escalation which I did and finally, someone helped me and took all my information done and then told me to place a report here and wait until I see something commented on. I told the GM "Quest is not being completed had 20+ combat (wide area) objectives, 40+ combat (region) objectives, 30+ content objectives, and 10+ achievement objectives. all completed before this quest was available and I can not do the 10+ achievement due to will not allow you to do it beyond 1 time only. So Square Enix put up a quest that is not able to be completed if you have completed these steps beforehand and for whatever reason I am unable to complete and trigger a completion even though I had everything done before and after I activated the quest I did 20+ combat wide area and 40+ region and 40 runs of the content objective which was ambuscade due to it was repeatable content and also did vagary. and I kept getting bashed and people who bashed me are special really due to they are incompetent and do not know how to read what so ever so I am keeping it as simple as possible. !!!!!

For the record, I can confirm this happened to me, because I was looking at the wrong RoE category to think I had completed enough of a particular set of objectives (was looking at combat general and not combat wide-area). And I had done very few of those. Once I got those done I was able to complete the objective.

from conversing with GM and also tech support via phone call the only requirement for ROE that is required to start mentor license is 1 180 hours which I met year's ago I have 1079 days and I am not always on and also took 5 years off because of RL stuff. 2nd 1 job at 30 which I have all jobs mastered. 3rd complete repelling ambuscade which I have done. the license requirement for the quest I have done as well and all my achievements are and have been completed for some time now so I do not and can not do any more achievements to meet that requirement because I actually had those done. now if you can think of any other requirement outside of that would be extremely supportive I appreciate it!!! and I mean you need to actually provide actual useful information instead of here refer to this and that is not supportive documentation what so ever that is complete utter laziness and if you want to be lazy then do not post again thank you for your support and love thanks !!

In addition to the playtime, you need to complete te tutorial RoE objectives up through "Repelling an Ambuscade;" which you've already done. Why are you disputing things you've already accomplished?

The SqEX staff unfortunately replies to posts pretty rarely here, so we help each other out as much as we can.

Support goes two ways. You need to help us help you, and what I did previously was what you are suggesting we should do, too: asking for more information.

Here's a list of things I have seen, and believe to be true until proven otherwise:

Any objectives you have previously completed will count (meaning you don't need to be able to do the Achievement category again).
Your video shows you're lacking at least in the 'Content' department (I'm going by what you showed; you did not show all the objectives in that category, but from what I saw I counted the completed ones and it was less than 30). I know which ones have been completed at least once due to them not having the larger yellow sphere in the list.
Monthly objectives such as Ambuscade do not count (this is something that should be made clear in the official documentation). I'm nearly 100% sure I tested this out some months ago to be sure, but I do forget things. :]
Repeated completions of objectives do not count.
Completing objectives only count when you have them active.
Let me know if any of this seems wrong to you, and we'll work forward from there.

I appreciate the call out for ambuscade i went out of my way and spammed lair reive as well as wkr and collation revie. 2nd when i said bashing there were only 2 people who refused to read and posted you need to read the warning you are not allowed to have it due to a reason!! is making it sound like I refused to read I understand this quest is new and a lot of people have completed it and have mentor status on asura. but the person who actually made the statement instead of providing useful information he just posted you refused to read the statement. instead of providing a none useful statement he should have said hey bro did you do this or hey what up is there anything you need help what happening?? how can I help you?? oh I did this and this did you do the same??? that is proper feedback obviously either I am the only human who thinks logically and everyone else doesn't or those who post and do not give proper feedback are bashing which is why I said if you do not provide useful information I will block. because I am trying to let people know there is an issue and few people may go through what I am struggling with. you know it very ironic you nitpick everything I wrote but you do not read and comprehend or your just an idiot that refuses to actually understand I said to not post on this document to actually stop several times. I also told you that the area where I need assistance is not you if your, not a gm then do not communicate about it and you refuse to even do that. I also stated that I had all the quest completed and ran through it over and over and it not completed I have now everything done in the tutorial and also did everything it required. You keep claiming we can't read or comprehend you. If that's actually true, then you are failing at communicating what you really want to say. Because I've been through all years of grade school and have a four year college degree and I"m pretty sure I understand English pretty well. I don't mean this as a personal attack, but your grasp of the language would have to be at the level of a life-long English professor. And the grammar and typos in your writing do not convey to me that you have that level of expertise.

I am not trying to be rude or disrespectful but when you see the post's saying go to this link and or post that says you didn't read the warning! Your early posts in the thread contained factual errors and linked to out-of-date information. We read everything you wrote, the problem is what you wrote was inaccurate. Again, stop treating us as if we're some kind of idiots, we were trying to help and if you really think we're missing something, you need to explain what that is. But because we've covered practically every possibility of what's going on, I really don't know what it is we're missing.

I appreciate that you yourself want to help anyone who could be in your situation, at least for now, I've not seen anyone posting about this problem. And honestly, truly, I think the problem is user error on your part and not a malfunction of the game.
