Field Manual doesn't recognize gamepad or keyboard input. Mouse required initially

Steps:

- Walk up to field manual with Gamepad
- Interact with Field Manual
- Controller Input not responsive
- Keyboard Input not responsive (couldn't even use escape button to close menu)
- Mouse allows me to click a menu option
- After clicking once with the mouse, I can use keyboard and/or gamepad as expected
- After closing the field manual and opening it again I was still able to use the gamepad. Not sure why it didn't work initially or why mouse input was the only way to interact with it.

Additional Info:

The Gamepad I am using is the Nvidia Shield Pro Controller, connected to PC via USB cable, and configured to work with FFXI via FFXI Config. The gamepad worked to open the Field Manual before it became unresponsive indicating that it was otherwise working properly.

Just to throw an idea in while I can: this sounds a lot like the game window lost focus, assuming that the gamepad doesn't get the input in when that happens.

Unless it's obvious that this did not happen at the time, I'd try testing that out a bit. :]

it does sound like the game window doesn't have focus I have no issues selecting options from field manuals or any other similar menus.
