View Full Version : Assist Channel, why don't the developers ask for our input?

Most of us spend a lot of time in this game, we know the things that will make this "assist channel" be useful or not. If nothing else we can offer input from a western standpoint.

Once this is added it will be "finished" and they will no longer work on it, so if it's a fail it will forever be a fail. Just like Mentor turned out to be.

Why don't the developers use us as an aid for them to make the assist channel(via the community team) useful?

RMT are going to use it, people are going to spam it, people are going to troll it.

Why no communication on the assist channel?

How will new players be allowed to use it to ask questions, how will people be picked to aid others?

Because they don't care.

Chat doesn't need a new channel, it needs existing chat to be fixed. Ten thousand RMT shouts daily. Ten thousand Merc shouts daily. No ability to filter, and no F's given because those bots pay subs.

Unity chat is entirely broken, but let's go ahead and add another channel instead of fixing that. Makes sense.

Can't wait for the new chat to be filled with entirely RMT only shouts made by new bots to bypass the "requirements" to be in said new chat.

If this is going to work based on rating up and down (which I worry they are going to do) the RMT are going to automate rating all their RMT shouts up lol
