I had never had this message. I will relay it exactly as it appeared to me...
"Resist! Kitheren starts casting Cure VI."
I've never seen this and it does not mean it hasn't happened before. I would just like some info on it.
I am a White Mage (obviously...) and we were fighting Amarok. I don't recall what move the NM was doing but I was out of range of it.
Anyway, have you had this message before?
EDIT Sorry forgot the info @_@

I've seen it from time to time, I'm not sure it is a glitch but has to deal with the persons Light/Dark elemental resistance that you are trying to cure. Unless the glitch is that we shouldn't be resisting any healing magic. But I thought was similar to someone have really strong 'Killer effects' and intimidating you while trying to cast on them.

I've seen that too. It seems to be common among Red Mages wearing Crimson legs.

Ahoy, Kitheren! I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you don't mind I'd like a little more information to add to the report before I submit it to development to investigate.
1. The Cure VI you casted, which gave you this message, did the Cure VI actually still go through and heal the target or did nothing happen just as if the target were to resist an enfeebling spell? If nothing happened was the target at full health by the time the Cure VI landed on them?
2. Did the target of the Cure VI have any debuffs on them? Did you have any?
3. What Job was the target?

Hello there ^_^
The cure still went through and I believe it cured for my usual amount, around 1.4k.
They did not have any debuffs that I am aware of.
I believe he was on Monk or Warrior.
I hope this helps, my memory is terrible about things like this.
