Dear reader,
While people have come and gone the past 8 years, there has always been one major problem staying behind. Character names from accounts that have been deactivated or even banned continue to be in use, preventing anyone from making a similarly named character. Originally this was no big deal, but after 8 years, the available (decent) names not in use have been reduced to a near handful of unsuitable 12+ letter gibberish.
I would like to suggest you free up the names of Characters that are currently deactivated, or have not been paying for their accounts for quite some time or who have simply not logged in for quite some time. I am not asking you to delete those characters, but it would be great if you could atleast make their names available (turn them into yellow for those accounts) and have people that are currently still playing the game have the option of taking them.
Especially with yet another server merge comming up and (as experienced in the last one) people werent exactly pleased with losing names they have cherrished for the past 6-7 years that were suddenly taken from them, with no other alternative but to name their beloved character something unrecognizable or sometimes even unpronouncable. In most cases people lost their names to characters on accounts that have long since been deactivated but did not delete their characters from the account.
Please free up names on deactivated accounts or who have not logged in for months.
If possible, also allow the people who lost their names in the previous server merge to take the names back that they used to have on their old server.
