Steps:
1. Click on "Play" from the POL screen. Takes on average 20~30 seconds to transition into the game menu. POL closes and just the desktop is shown during the 20~30 second delay between POL and FFXI.
Intro Movie is disabled.
I've not seen this before, with the previous installer and I have reinstalled FFXI a few times.

If you're still experienging long delay transitioning from the PlayOnline Viewer screen to the FINAL FANTASY XI screen, we'd like you to please submit a bug report (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/forums/467) using the template (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/35051?p=453663&viewfull=1#post453663)with as much details as possible.
How often is this occurring? Everytime
Have you reinstalled FINAL FANTASY XI on the same PC in the past? Same PC yes, Lost previous hard-drive, so reinstalled using the new installer on a fresh install of Windows 7 (after all system updates were applied).
When exactly does the delay happen? (Transitioning from PlayOnline Viewer to FINAL FANTASY XI, or is it after hitting the Play button in the game?) Transition between POL to FFXI game menu.
