Yeah.... I'm not seeing much urge to do Caith Sith HTB like there was with Odin at all. Not even a little bit really.
Every piece from Odin is kind of incredible. Can't even pretend that's true for this one.

- @ negative comments concerning cait sith HTBF : It's a HTBF! Treasures wouldn't be designed to replace *Best in Slot*. The helm is incredible for entry to medium gear equipped mages. The ring gives an alternative combination effect currently split by multiple *BiS* rings and is also good for entry to medium geared pup/bst/smn with -dt fantastic for idle use. Same thing concerning the earring! Very nice earring for entry to medium gear equipped SMN and fantastic use for idle equipment set. Club looks like a situational 'solo' use weapon for whm's and geo's. Particularly i could see them with five trusts out with one trust as a stable skillchain partner (preferably a skillchain closer like Gilgamesh) granted geo would likely be doing something rarely seen which is off-hand a club via /dnc or /nin subjob. The ammo stone has nice stat boosts with +10dex +10agi the yamarang doesn't have to add some umph to weapon skill modifiers. Cait Sith HTBF is an appreciated addition in my eyes. One additional treasure i would have added though would have been an all-jobs neck that would tick off player hit points when worn transfering HP to an effect granted of +magic def bonus +magic evasion or +refresh tick.
Esuna + Sacrifice concerns properly fixed big win for WHM's that prefered the pre-adjustment usage.
I would like to see a Pieuje trust that isn't a unity concord leader though. Maybe that could be a fantastic addition this fall ( Trust Cipher : Pieuje II ).
Yonin merit adjustment is superb, ninja will welcome that extra 250 max HP i'm sure.
Innin merit adjustment is good, but i think a full time 5% bonus to magic dmg from behind while in Innin stance may have been received with more praise.
I predict many ninja's setting up 5/5 Yonin and 5/5 ninjutsu magic accuracy. Maybe one day all merit categories can have the constraints of ten allocations removed for all jobs.
As for subtle blow job trait; possibly give attentive consideration to a previous suggestion that i placed in May feedback would go a long way helping MNK and NIN jobs achieve higher popularity.
} ---> Subtle blow adjustment: -> proposed Solution -> Remove current job trait for subtle blow. Add new job trait potentially named "Battle Force" creates tiers of I to XI same as old job trait subtle blow and will continue to provide the subtle blow effect as it currently is and in addition will increase auto attack damage and weapon skill damage without any weaponry type penalty as follows. When white mage got merits changed such as protectra you removed the augment and boosted the effect of protectra by more than the augment on gear and merits. You changed the ninja head to remove 25% San damage and the merits for San effect but did not boost at all. Players are seeing almost 50% less magic burst damages. Please look into this and ensure this was intended. If it was, I will be giving up all hope on ninja.

yay my first post here :) I checked the 17th anniversary page from may to try to comment there and that wasn't possible so sorry for the tangent, this seemed like the next appropriate place.
I am dying to know--anything--about the nexon final fantasy xi reboot. have been following this since it's announcement in 2015. that was so rad in 2018 when those 4 screenshots came out. please just tell us it's still alive and in development and maybe 1 screenshot. reddit is in a panic over it being dead because someone bought nexon and so far they seem right. also you need to allow us to port our characters AND give us a permanently reduced monthly fee and legacy prizes for supporting you for 15+ years as paying customers. that was an incredibly wise decision and the only reason I still sub to xiv. also you need to bring dragon quest x online west!!!
please shed any light on this, ever (ffxi reboot and dragon quest x online western release). this is not the first time your fan base has accused one of your games of dying and I am eternally optimistic and will support you. like I always say in game, Rome wasn't built in a day. checkers is 10 thousand years old and people still play that. these games aren't going anywhere. but please keep us informed, you kind of owe it to us. even if the project is dead, in stasis, or being made into an offline version like I heard about dq x western release. don't let the trolls and naysayers with the loudest voices dominate your PR. thanks for all the hard work in a world desperate for creative inspiration, beauty, and compassion. <3 u SE.

Another bad update from the Development team.
Ninja job adjustments did little to nothing to the job except make it worse in some cases.
No interest at all in the Cait Sith HTBF or its gear.

Hello, I'm not fond of SMN,NIN,WHM,SCH, WAR, I'm more of a malee ER, i like Dark Knight, Sammuria, RANGER, Beast Master, you need to make these jobs alot stronger, i have been playing since the JP Beta release Version in year 2000, i'v seen good things happen and alotta bad shit in job advancement over the years, This is one of my favorite games of all times, its not to complicated or hard to play, stormblood or bloodstorm was way to mechanical, it was nonscense if you ask my opinion, you all need to concentrate more on here and get RID OF THEM DAM RMT's its annoying as crap, and what about Kayeel Payeel in Windurst Woods and the Warlord Robel Akbel and his precious Fort Korongo Nurongo (S) heads wood fly if he new the federation has went to hell in a hand basket, Why not another add-on in the present shown Fort Korongo Norongo in the present with everything active,why not make it were your character can have a sex change and name change in this game, FFXI, i would like to keep my character and all his status,gear, everything, just make it at the cradle of rebirth in attowa chasm were u can do that, turn it into a quest pretty please, i was once a mithra or manthra, people back then were idiots and harassed us cats, did mean thangs to us mithra, now i'm a crappy hume and i dont want to start all over, please think about this alot and make our other loving jobs in Vana Deil much much STRONGER, i'll leave with my saying,

Thanks for keeping FFXI updated with nice new contents.
We really appreciate your continued efforts in expanding FFXI over the years.
There are some problems with the new Relic augments.
First, the Head used to be nice for increasing "-ton: San" damage. Now it's the feet and that is a problem since it overlaps with the Ninja Relic feet that has Magic Burst +10.
Am I wrong or we don't get any Innin augments from the relic augments?
I read that the relic head augment gives a bonus to both Innin and Yonin but it's not displayed in the FFXI game client.
If the relic head augment does give the Innin bonus, again, it overlaps with the Empyrean head Innin bonus.
Finally, the augment for the relic feet reads; "Enh. Ninj. Mag. Acc/Cast Time Red." So no more extra damage to help merit category? Casting Time Reduction... is not needed for -ton spells.
Is it possible to have any clarifications on which merit group II category affects which Relic augments and at what potency? Please?
Can I recommend to change around the head and feet augments please?
Also, I do feel like Ninja "Utsusemi" is dying from FFXI. And it's a bit sad. Since early Final Fantasy, Ninja used to be nice for being able to have a self blink effect.
I hope the following feedback will be valuable to you;
About Merit group II category for Ninja...
Sange: Please remove that completely, it is contradictive with Danken that uses shirikens without expanding them.Good shurikens are so hard to get, it's not a good idea to throw them away.
Ninja Tool Expertise: Very good to play Ninja more without being to costly.
Yonin Effect: Not my style but I like the idea, however Ninja is more and more a DD not a Tank since Utsusemi has been nerfed too hard.
Innin Effect: That's interesting but also feels a bit too situational a bit like Yonin Effect.
Ninjutsu Magic Accuracy: Interesting but not really what a Ninja needs.
Ninjutsu Mag. Atk. Bonus: Interesting but I fell like this is used in rare occasions.
Ninja needed different Merits, and really needed the help with it.
I have been playing Ninja in FFXI for 14 years soon, so I hope my are suggestions valuable to you;
1- Utsusemi Effect; +20% chance per merit for all Utsusemi Shadows to absorb AOE & +15% chance per merit for only 1 Utsusemi Shadow to be consumed from AOE absorbtion.
2- Ninjutsu Recast; -5% recast time for Ninjutsu
3- Pair Yonin and Innin effects into 1
4- Pair Ninjutsu Magic accuracy with Ninjutsu Magic attack
5- Remove Sange completely, or make it so it does not consumes shurikens
6- Ninja Tool Expertise; keep it as it is.
For the Relic,
Head; Bonus with Ninjutsu Magic accuracy & attack. (no casting speed)
Body; Utsusemi Effect; -5% recast time for Utsusemi spells
Hands; keep it as it is
Legs: Mijin Gakure is a waste but since all relic sets has a 1h augment... Maybe add a reraise effect to Mijin Gakure?
Feets: Yonin & Innin effect.

There's too much tinkering around the edges mostly with the aim of keeping you paying the monthly fee like Deeds of Heroism, the game needs something bigger.
The game is in urgent need of a graphics update. I think you might get lots of returning players + new ones if this was possible.

~ @ Toners I started a topic for your concern. Although it doesn't address a graphics overhaul, there is a definite need for inclusive new end game battles with design to dramatically suppress corruption and make content obsolete that is currently being utilized by corrupt players to exploit the weaknesses of design in the content.

Applies to recast time speed of magic spells that have recast timers.
Main hand and Off hand Kanaria is also a 5% per weapon increase in fast cast and is very easy as far as difficulty of a particular drop to obtain.
I am also very certain you'll be able to do some research to find fast cast item enhancements for ammo slot, neck, earring, ring, ambuscade cape.

A graphics update is not an "All-in-one" solution to bring returning and new players to the game. This has been state so many times for years. If it happens, cool, but more people are asking for further job developments, weaponskills, and new content to do, in addition asking if Dev will be add add-on scenarios.

Since the introduction of S. Astral Detritus ( https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/S._Astral_Detritus ) there has been a fierce reluctance surrounding a large segment of players to cooperate concerning Mystical canteen K.I. consumption.
Inclusion frequency is down a lot. Due to the current, primitive, way Square Enix has introduced the Crystal of Swart Astral Detritus item to Omen treasure, multi-player activity is diminished. Excitement is diminished. Boss encounters are diminished. Capability to reforge AF from +2 to +3 is diminished. Point blank it is BAD for this to persist as it currently is.
So HERE is the fix:
Voucher items are created to handle the S.astral distribution concerning Omen (this could work in fantastic way for Dynamis{D} too, but let's focus on Omen first).
S.Astral voucher ~ SE can name these whatever the heck they like but you get the idea ~ are traded to the Goblin Coelestrox NPC in Reisenjima for a reward of proposing 4-5 S.astral per voucher.
S.Astral voucher are obtained GLOBALLY by anyone within the instance of the Omen battlefield WHEN the omen battlefield issues the rewards for a AF Reforge Card. https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Category:Omen#Omens_Currency
It's an automatic 100% corresponding interface attachment. Your team proc's a reward for a Job Card and when that happens everyone obtains S.Astral voucher for each Job Card rewarded in their own inventory as a personal treasure.
This needs to be done. Square Enix needs to take a programming perspective and philosophy of facilitating inclusiveness for our community with the intellectual realization that content can not be designed that degenerates multiplayer activities in a MMO format.

You're not wrong. Adding detrietus to omen runs was a gigantic mistake. Now all anyone wants to do is farm them.
Never going to change though. It's keeping people subbed who feel obligated to make that 2m a day addiction. it's quite dubiously perfect for square.

The proposed solutions still allows each and everyone currently farming with a priority focus on S.Astrals to continue to attain S.Astrals with each use of the Mystical Canteen K.I.
The only other 'realistic' solution would be to remove the limitation surrounding the real life time required to lapse and in place of it install a Records of Eminence temporary K.I. awarded upon completing an objective ( basically how your current key item is acquired for ambuscade ).

Instance space is limited. Server resources are much more efficiently used when a gathering of players unites as opposed to splitting apart to solo instanced content with trusts.

The stats of ★Champion of the Dawn equipment rewards were balanced around the equipment obtained from the Reisenjima Geas Fete, which has about the similar level of difficulty.
The stats of these items fall somewhere between the augmented and non-augmented versions of the Reisenjima equipment.

The stats of these items fall somewhere between the augmented and non-augmented versions of the Reisenjima equipment.
If that's true then why is Odin gear so incredibly good, and Cait Sith gear incredibly mediocre.

You guys just have absolutely no clue. It's still a big nerf and you don't even understand why. How can you be so oblivious. No one wants to unlock the MAB category to get the damage bonus they already had, BACK. At this point in the game there shouldn't even be choices for merits. it should all be open.

First off, thank you for your work and you too Fujito.
I tried to ask the "great" community called Asura and as far as I saw... No complaints even though some members with opinions from my LS said they are not even that good.
I am sorry for my ignorance, I haven't played NIN for years so I have no idea what changes. If you must find out, I'd suggest you to hire an interpreter and go visiting Asura to wake up the sheep.
