i have heard several different sides on this but, wanted a clarification of sorts. is the sign's that you buy with guild pts do they help or hurt your stall mega moglification? and are they worth getting or a total waste of points. also on that subject what about the fishing stall?

just don't bother with guild signs. I think that combining the guild sign with another of their guild furnishing sold for guild points just makes regular moglification so it's not worth the time or guild points to bother with any furnishing. just buy the emblem, gather mats and synergize it into a stall.

does the sign provide +1 to the craft? because one of the sites says +1 +5 next to each item. or is that just misleading?

It's +1 if you have no stall. Furniture can only have 1 item giving + and stall is the highest.

Sign +1 (Key Item - Moghancement)
Stall +5 (Key Item - Mega Moglification)

ok then what about those items you can buy off ah for each craft that give +1, so they combine with a stall, or do they just simply not work at all?

Stall buff does not change. It's a flat skill+5, regardless of any other furnishings that you have in layout (so long as they don't have enough elemental strength to overwrite the stall.)

Once you have the stall, all other crafting furnishings are for decoration only and do nothing other than add a pittance of storage, just like any other furnishing does.

what about gear and wearing guild items from other guilds while you craft? does that mess up the hq rate or does it make it easier to hq with other sub crafts?

Furniture is it's own thing, it gives a KI that gives the skill.

Clothing/Torques/temp buff +3 are all independent. Yes you can do something like 115 (cap + stall) Smithing while wearing a Leather Apron, gloves, torque synthesis support and get 115/77

Or any weird combos therein...

Cap smithing
Bone Stall
Cloth Apron
Gold Glasses
Leather Gloves
Alchemy torque
Wood support
Cooking Katana

110 Smith + 75 Bone + 71 Cloth + 71 Gold + 71 Leather + 72 Alchemy + 73 Wood + 73 Cooking
