...why do the roaming avatars in the Visions and Scars areas not drop anything? Only Bhumi in Tahrongi [A] has a chance to drop a nice abyssite to the one that claimed it, but what about Tejas, Akash, and the like?

Only thing I can see so far is using them to buff the visitant lights, but other than that...why should us adventurers bother with them?

You know your name is already next to your avatar ;o?

I thought it was proven Avatars do not give any enhanced lights?

I thought it was proven Avatars do not give any enhanced lights?I don't remember getting any lights from them period. I know at the very least Bhumi doesn't give guaranteed pearl like I figured it should being a NM. I never killed much of anything outside of Bhumi because everything else typically killed my ass before I could make peace with Altana.

Personally I feel they are there just because so you can die horribly when you AoE it by accident. Specifically Levi in coast around the frogs. Very strategically placed if you ask me.

I thought they were available for a fast and convenient homepoint... that and wiping groups who are trying to proc grellow on a mob they can barely hold.

Uh, we're talking about the weak avatars that are up walking around, e.g. the ones that basically anyone can solo. They're barely stronger than normal mobs if at all.
