Unable to select infomation in dialog box

I am on ZM12, in quicksank caves. I am at the part where I have to en I click on the ??click on the ??? to spawn a NM. When I click on the ??? the dialog box displays "Something is written here, but you are unable to read it... the words to read it go outside the dialog box. the arrow that would have me select me response point to a blank space. I am unable to go any further.

Should say "Something is buried in this fallen pillar".

No I triple checked I had the steps right, it says in one line "Something is written here, but you are unable to read it..."
