I am having some problems that I am not sure are because of me overlooking something or a possible bug. Wanted to see what people say before I made a bug report.
My issue is that sometime ago (not sure when) I accepted this quest and took the trial blade.
At some later point (also not sure when) I gave up on this quest and tossed the blade. I told the NPC Gaddiux that I gave up on it. He gave some text about the blade being worthless and to throw it away.
Now I have come to a point where I want to do this quest, but he will no longer offer it to me. No matter what I do he just says the same thing about "Innovations for the whole family..." and will not say more.
Does anyone have some idea as to what the problem could be?
