View Full Version : Idea - Job Master universal stat bonus based on job class + based # of mastered jobs

I remember in FFV how whenever you master a job, the Freelancer & Mime Jobs gain their stats and abilities. Even though 15 minutes off your mastered job's 1 hour abilities seems nice, it just feels kinda off somewhat from the only benefit from job master status.

I like to propose adding a universal permanent stat boost that adds stats too to all your jobs (affects only level 99 jobs or maybe only mastered jobs gain the benefits?). The type of stat boost would mainly depend on that type job mastered, and the amount is also taken into account based on the job. The stat bonus boost could be very small or something and range from attack/defense/evasion/magic attack/magic defense/magic accuracy/magic evasion along with STR/DEX/AGI/MND/INT/CHR/VIT depending on job and the number of jobs you have mastered.

This is silly and it's already somewhat implemented by the Merit points system. If you are advocating increases in stats with an association with exp gains then you should initiate a conversation about increasing stats with merit point costs.

It's way to convoluted, and to the point "Why should you get boosts to other jobs, just because you mastered one job?"
