Why no more new content?? or level 99+?

Can someone please answer this for me? Why are they letting this game die?? :( why no more new content. Ive invested allot of years into my charachter. Kinda pisses me off that they want to let it die. I mean I love the Job point system but why not 99+??

They just added Dynamis - Divergence wave 3 and lot of items this month.
Seriously tho the reason is that they don't have enough resources for adding any major content. If the game was more popular they might do it.

I wonder if they could licence out content to say smaller independent developers to make even something like mini-expansions? The companies would have to abide by SE's protocols and approval, but it's an idea. I'm pretty sure it's been done with other games before.
