Time to remove the Mog Locker Lease fee?

Since very few people party in ToAU areas or do Beseiged to earn ISP to buy Imperial Bronze Pieces, would it be feasable to remove the requirement to pay for the locker? We have already paid for upgrades to its storage capacity. Sure there are Imp Bronze Pieces for sale on the AH, but sometimes there aren't.................Some people have paid for their lockers for years in advance, but not everyone wants to do that.:)

I honestly think since you had to pay imperial gold pieces to upgrade it to 80 it should be free. Then again when i partied in TOAU areas i paid my locker off up to September 26th 2018 lol.

just do a besieged and you have enough IS to pay for the locker for several real life months.

Or NPC two-three perle pieces and buy an imp. gold piece from the AH which you in turn exchange for 50 bronce pieces. 1 bronze is one earth-week, making 50 pieces last nearly a whole year.

This is a non-issue.

There are also the Serpent General Quests which usually drop a Gold piece and ISP for Completing them.

Been there, done it all, it's a redundant and unecessary fee. I have plenty of ISP, but what about all these poor little Abyssea children? They probably don't even know where Whitegate is.......:)

lol I'd say it's similar to the years ago done away with need to speak to an NPC to get a Rent-A-Room. It's so miniscule a thing to require each week.

On the other hand, right outside Al Zahbi are Lesser Colibri. You need to have been to Aht Urhgan to activate your Mog Locker anyway, and requiring a little bit of ingame currency is part of what insures players are doing something in that area.

I didn't prepay my Mog Locker, I just keep a stack of Imp. Bronze Pieces. No big whoop to hand over another one on the rare occassion that I actually need into that bit of space. (I have everything at max capacity and thanks to three sets of personal inventory... heh Yeah.)

They need to go to whitegate to get a mog locker. imp gold pieces are sold on AH, one gold piece is a year with locker

They should make it such that you don't have to pay for it anymore once you're past say, TOA mission 18.

Well, you buy FFXI then you pay to play it monthly. It's pretty much the same thing. And technically, you are renting the locker from the start. It's up to you to pay up to increase it's size or not.
