Hi SE,
You've opted to fix Dual Wield's loss of TP with Daken. I don't understand it but whatever. How have you opted to fix Monk's loss of TP generation for 2100 JP gifts? Monks's will exceed the cap by which attack delay is reduced, but TP continues to decrease. No amount of weapon damage increase, can make up for the reduced frequency of weapon skills, all of which are currently terrible.

Please throw us a bone here SE. :(

Daken is almost exactly the same thing as kick attacks... which already existed before daken...

DW/MA are completely unrelated to daken/kicks

Martial arts for all intents and purposes -is- currently fixed. You can add some MA gear without a penalty as of the last update.

The existence of kick attacks prior to 2100 JP Martial Arts gifts doesn't negate the fact that Martial Arts Gifts will continue to reduce TP generation even after the cap for attack delay reduction has been reached.

Edit: Just so we're clear, both Dual Wield and Martial Arts are related in that, they both suffered from the same problem. Stacking too much DW (or MA) proved to negatively impact TP gain beyond the benefit of reducing attack delay. In the case of Monk, this problem is incurred by obtaining 2100 JP. That's all it takes to hurt Monk.
Do you have proof of this MA update somewhere?

Halley is talking about the somewhat recentish update where they raised the delay rating on all ilvl h2h weapons.

Thank you for the clarification. That sounds really unfortunate. TP gain is still negatively impacted after the Martial Arts cap is reached in gear and 500 JP. For folks who master their Monk to 2100 JP, they will get hit with another penalty in TP gain. :(

I've mathed this stuff out with a PUP before and IIRC, our conclusion was that even post delay adjustment, there weren't any h2h that pup could use that would allow for MA+ from gear to stop being a disadvantage. :/ I rather doubt the situation is any different for MNK.

Correct, from gear. The issue still arises from 2100 JP Gifts on Monk.

Monk currently does -not- get any penalty from being 2100 with Godhands, Spharai, Glanzfaust, Jolt/+1, Denountments.

It only has an issue with Vere

If you're using hammerfists, don't.
