Everything by now should be lowered to 1- X amount of players. Long overdue tbh, do it se. :D
Pretty much a solo game now, population IS very small and scattered. Too many cliques and mute players to make any content rely on others anymore. Time to change the mold SE it isn't 2003 anymore ^^
Give us a reason to to play both ffxiv and ffxi :p

2,200+ who will play with you...for a price.

There are plenty of PUG shouts. However, I do agree that people selling content for gil is out of control..
People charging for exp/job points, ambuscade, equipment, and other content is laughable. But, where there are lazy people/people with other motives, there are going to be mercenaries.
Personally I wonder what people are "playing" for when they opt to just literately stand there, get to 99, get to master, and get all required weapons/equipment.
These so called 'mercs' also make it easy for RMT.

The reason so many people on Asura want everyone on asura is so they have more fresh blood to merc to.

I guess its about encouraging people to play with others.
