Lack of enforcement or care for botting and the TOS.

I play on Valefor and at this very moment there are 4 bots in East Ronfaure_S farming lady bugs, normally 5. Peeeeweeee, Patadu, Drducati, buckweat, and most times keighly aswell, I've turned these and other bots in for months for nothing as the only thing that has happened is the have multiplied and taken more farming areas and experience camps up without worry. I even tried calling SE on the phone but after waiting upwards of an hour without talking to anyone I decided on this since I would be to mad to get out what I need at that point.

How do I know they are bots? Well, first off they off they're lack of and poor selection of equipment, low ranks, on almsot 24/7, run the same routes all day long(unless you stand in their way it will mess them up alittle and I've seen them stuck on trees for hours because of that small change in the route.), If you pull 2 or more lady bugs they will ranged attack the one your not currently fighting till they get complete hate, till you start attacking it, or till another lady bug pops, I've pulled multiple lady bugs and pulled them all over east ronfaure_S and even gotten a couple stuck by the fortification and can't even use the teleport from the fortification apperently whoever is running them has to run them to and from San D'Oria_S.

I love playing FFXI but if they are gonna let bots run wild I'd like to see a change in the TOS or them just openly say we don't care.

Did you report them to the STF(u)?

I saw a Logging Bot in Fort(S) and reported it to the STF, He was banned in a week.

Theres a thread about some dude banned for buying things on his Mule, and now this thread where it looks like obvious Bot-farmers are going unbanned.

Makes me wanna just stay in my mog house all day to not get banned :|

O_o I feel like it sometimes but, then I get bored so I venture out into the world. They've been out there so long I've started to think SE themselves are behind it or a GM is.

I do actually go to my mog house to AFK.

I afk'd once in Caedarva mire a long time ago, came back in GM Jail because i was apparently "Speed Hacking" in my Sleep. Afk. Standing Still. Not moving...

I've never been in GM jail, but I say I've started to think SE or GM's be behind it cause the bots used to have really really bad equipment so you could just look at them and see something wasn't right then after my first report where I mention their equipment their equipment got kinda better. <.<

You need to report them to the STF. Also, the ToS doesn't define what SE has to do. It defines what they can do.

If you had bothered to read I have reported them........... and its says no 3rd party programs in the TOS running a botting program is a 3rd party program.
