Alot of the GMs and moderators on the forums keep telling people that "Due to the amount of work this request needs, we dont have the time or capacity to do anything at the moment". Thats the answer we usually get in different variations.

Then I suggest this: How about waiting with new content and only focus on stuff we want fixed? >_> I have made a list of many the Moderators comments on topics. (Its kinda long and not neccisary to understand my request)

Here is a quick preview if you dont wanna read the whole thing:

-Minimap
-Wyvern color change
-Cut down in Trial of the Magian quests
-Quest tracker
-Key Items sortable
-Difficulties of obtaining a Mythic Weapon
-MH expantion

I am sure there is alot more that I have missed. Post here if you have something^_-

Forum: Give us quest tracker in the one in World of warcraft and mini map
Camate (Community Rep):

"We talked to the development team about the possibility of adding a mini-map to the UI. They mentioned that they were looking into this in the past, but in order to implement this it would require a large amount of development resources and it would be quite difficult to fit this into the version update schedule. We apologize for this, but greatly appreciate the feedback."

Forum: Please hold back on Trial of the Magians
Camate (Community Rep )

"We brought up your concerns about the recent abundance of Trial of the Magians-related quests to the development team. They definitely understand your concerns, but stated that due to the fact such a large amount of content needs to be added in quick succession it became necessary to re-use the system (imagine creating 500+ quests to take players through the various paths of the Magian upgrade process!). So while the Trial of the Magians system will continue to be utilized for that type of content going forward, they did assure us that story driven content will not use that system."

Forum: Make key items and regular items sortable in alphabetic order!
Camate (Community Rep )

"After speaking with the development team regarding the possibility of organizing key items manually, we were informed that unfortunately it's not currently possible from a technical standpoint. The dev. team also asked us to pass along their apologies."

------

Forum: Mythic optaining
Camate (Community Rep )

"The development team is aware of the difficulties involved with obtaining Mythic weapons. Though it will take place some time after the next major version update, similar to how Dynamis is receiving tweaks and adjustments in the next version update, the development team is also planning revamps in regards to Salvage, so that players can continue to enjoy this content.

Please look forward to the road map that we will be releasing very soon, which outlines what the development team has planned!"

------

Forum: Make key items and regular items sortable in alphabetic order!
Camate (Community Rep )

"While an alphabetical sorting feature would indeed be quite useful, the development team has looked into it and has found that it would be quite difficult to implement. Due to the fact that the game supports multiple languages, items are organized by internal item IDs and not by the name of the item itself. Since the current sorting system is based on this deep rooted system of internal IDs, changing this is not very realistic at this time."

------

Forum: Expanding mog house!
Camate (Community Rep )

"Thanks for the feedback! There are definitely a lot of cool ideas getting tossed around here. It would be rather difficult to expand our current mog houses, however, I will escalate this to the development team so they can look in to it.

If you have any other ideas on the subject, as always, please don’t hesitate to share!"

------

Forum: Change your wyvern color!
Foxclon (Community Rep )

"Greetings adventurers!

As always, we thank you for your thoughtful and enthusiastic feedback.

We would like nothing more than to implement a feature to personalize wyvern color. Unfortunately, while technically possible, this would require considerably more work than it might appear at first glance. It is not just a matter of changing color values, but rather would require new textures to be created for each color scheme. This means that, sadly, a feature similar to the linkshell hue selection is simply not feasible.

With a full plate of updates on the way—a milestone list for forthcoming version updates will be released in the near future—cosmetic updates will have to be given lower priority. Still, we understand dragoons' strong feelings about this issue, so we’d like to revisit it should the opportunity present itself somewhere down the line.

Thank you for your understanding!"

Personally, aside from Atomic_Skull's engine tweaks, I could not give a shit less about any of the crap that's been suggested as an "improvement".

Any PC player with half a brain can tweak their wyvern's color, or get a harmless/bot-less minimap if they want. The Dev and Com teams know this, even if they aren't really allowed to speak candidly about it.

Not all players want to get rid of TotM. Personally, I think weapons and armor which are created based on time/effort put in by the user and not arbitrary Gil intake is the best bloody thing to EVER happen to progression in this game. You can't buy a Magian weapon off IGE. You don't have to lot against all of your friends or wait in lines for years for a Magian weapon. You go out and you earn it. You can solo it, or you can team up and (for most trials, barring Killshot ones) you aren't impacted negatively at all by teaming up. Most of the lazies who whine and bitch about TotM never had any gil to buy top tier weapons anyways, so I don't know what the problem is for them. So they can't get lucky and win a lot on a nice weapon once in a blue moon; they really weren't much better off.

As for Key Items and the Mog House, I really don't care. I like the KIs where they are now because all of the Pop Item KIs are in the same place, organized from Visions to Heroes. It's not hard at all to work with this.

There are improvements that everyone could use (DirectX 9 support, UI tweaks), and then there are shitty suggestions that people either agree or disagree with (everything in the OP). I'm way more interesting in that Gilgamesh NM than seeing some derp running around with a Pink Wyvern.

Not surprisingly, Greatguardian nails it in one post. Nicely said, and for what it's worth, I agree with you 100%.

You seriously think sorting KIs is a priority?

Most of those things should not be priorities over new content. They should of course be working on them in the meantime, but they shouldn't be prioritized.

I find TotM to be out of hand since some of them like one I'm on I need to kill beetles but only problem is the places with those weather effects are Too Weak so I would have to level sync which honestly is not an easy task in this stage of the game. Another fact with it is unless you have a linkshell with people willing to help you can't further most of them. Really the only ones you can solo are the WS Trials and lets face it most people want ones with better stats/effects.

As for the rest of that stuff it's not needed... It would be nice to have but I wouldn't consider any of those "fixes". The devs could be using their time more efficiently not worrying about most of those again TotM I'm with you on but that is it.

What job in this game is unable to solo level 55 monsters at level 90?

I kinda actually don't want Key Items sorted alphabetically as I like how they are sorted by when they were added to the game, but I'm kinda weird.

Yeah, thats fine^^ But I think there should be an option do sort them for the ones who want this^_-

As for the list I made, it was to show that SE keeps answering "We dont have time for that" basicly. There are many more aspects that people want changed.

Like after Abyssea, the EXP you get in old areas pale in comparisan. They have "noted" that and will do something about it later on... But thats what I think they should have thought about Before Abyssea came out. Waiting to release Abyssea perhaps 3-6 months could have prevented this situation.

I wasnt suggestion that they would wait a whole year or something to come out with new content. I was mearly suggesting all the things that they should have thought about BEfore they release a Expantion/Add-on should be prioratized. Then in the future of a new game content release, they spend more time on focusing on the balance in the whole game.

Examples:

-Trial of Magian

When Abyssea came out, all the Armor you have ever gotten pretty much became useless. The Relic,- and Mythic weapons werent that good anymore and Areas like Salvage and Einherjar got broken. It dosent seem fair that we have to wait 9-12 months before they "fix" this.

Thats why I think they should hold on with new content until things is balanced. The trial of Magian should have been in place in the release of Abyssea. And it should have been possible to upgrade all the Weapons and Armor the people have struggled years to get. And when a few items finally got upgrades, many didnt. It took forever for Aegis and Gjallarhorn to get an upgrade.

Still, they are working on these things and recently made a list of all the items that is gonna be able to upgrade via Trials of Magian.

-EXP

Like I previosly said, the EXP got broken in old areas. You can burn from 30-90 in Abyssea now, (wich I love btw), but it kinda makes everything else not worthing doing. The "double EXP" you get now in old areas IMO was not that well thought through.

When they planned on releasing Abyssea, did it ever cross theyr minds that: "Oh, btw. The old areas that only give 20k and hour, what about them?" I mean seriously... You would think that someone would go: "Perhaps we should hold off releaseing Abyssea a few months until the EXP and gear in old areas isnt so "broken" in comparison."

Abyssea seemed like a very good plan, but a half finished plan. All the Abyssea content is kinda "perfect" IMO. I personally LOVE Abyssea. I have all the megabosses done and fighting for Atmas and new AF is so much fun. But the problem was "What about the rest of the game?". Since the cap will be 99, I have leveld many of my jobs to lvl 49. And I have to say, things is soooooo slow and boring in comparison to Abyssea...

So, I get that you shouldnt hold off gamecontent, but if it means that it wont break the rest of the game, then I am willing to wait a litle before they release something^_-

I find the part I bolded really hard to believe. Somehow I don't think SE has made a trial where you HAVE to sync down for the target mobs to check as EP or higher in a zone with correct weather.

Ravenmore

You don't have to sync down. The ones in QSCs are mixed in with too weaks and can be converted to EPs by simply killing all the too weaks between weather pops. I have done that trial 3 times each time taking no more then 2 hours and one with a group of 3 which took only one weather cause we could open the doors getting to the other pops.

I'd argue actual weather rarity to be the bigger issue with trials of that nature. It may very well be more common in another zone with the desired mobs, but the mobs themselves too weak at 75+. Otherwise convincing someone else to stand around and do nothing for hours with no guaranteed result isn't what I call exciting or even a reward for that person... which kinda brings me to the next issue on trials and how someone just helping doesn't really get much out of it while you can't really expect those seeking help to be able to shell out the often high amounts of gil wanted for merc work. I don't blame people for holding because there's no guarantee someone would return the favor in a prompt manner, if ever, either.

Ravenmore

Only weather that is rare is fire weather and no trials that need fire are only weather. I also think even though its been said so many times learn the seasons it makes a large differance. None of the trials are hard or take that long.

Seriha

Light, Fire, and Dark are rather under-represented as weather patterns, though the last isn't as rare as the first two. Demanding people learn the seasons is basically multiplying the "wait for the right day" aspect by weeks, maybe more. If you can't play then for whatever reason, basically telling someone, "Tough luck!" isn't a good way to retain interest or customers.

Then again, a lot of this could be avoided if Storm spells could access 1 point per kill or if players could buy/synth items to temporarily influence a zone's natural weather or at least trigger the needed stat like a sort of 'Aurora Beacon' where anything within X yalms would be affected by light weather.

Its a MMO some time sinks are to be expected. Also it doesn't come from a mob that only pops every 24-72 hours isn't camp by hundreds of other players. Before fay weapons and trials the best Snm weapon came from a fight that you had to have finished CoP, ZM beat Bv1, Bv2 and hope you got the drop and won the lot/bid suck up to the leader eough to get it. I like this system more then any other in the game. It involes effort for a guarantee result.
