Steps:
1. Log in to FFXI.
2. Select character.
3. Log in succesfully.
4. Wait a few minutes and data goes to R0.
5. Disconnect and receive POL-4001 error message.
6. Issue has been ongoing since the May 17 update for version update issues. Issue occurs on both characters on account.
EDITED TO ADD: As of 05/25/17, I can now log in for approximately 1 hour before going to R0 and receiving POL-4001 error message.
