BST Pet HATE BUG

I'm one of many bsts that are tired of the beastmaster hate flaw.

Today again a person names Sylon sent me a tell saying to join his party because I was soloing a very simple NM named Seps for BST feet seals.

His group sat and waited til Seps was almost dead and then pulled a elemental type mob near my pet and it started casting AoE spells which hit my pet and my pet lost hate and Seps went unclaimed

Does SE not realize that their hate system is flawed and it is causing issues to pet jobs in the game.

people can justify this as much as they would like, but remember why /blockaid was put into place? Because people were stealing NM due to heal stealing well put another command in play so we can keep our mobs

Well there are two sides to this. Why didn't you join up with them when they asked?

Regardless of the answer, that was a total dick move by them and I hope you GM'd them for griefing.

GM's careless if players do this

they give you a polite response pretending "oh that's horrible and I'm sorry it happened" but that's about as far as it goes

and you shouldn't ever have to be forced to join someone or have them use a Bug in the game to exploit your pet

In your case they intentionally screwed with you to take the mob. If it goes yellow on it's own accord or by your fault, then that is a different story. GM's might very well do something when you're obviously being griefed. If players are repeatedly jerks to others, and SE has a record of calls logged against them, then it will catch up with them eventually. You should report things like that.

That's not what I was saying. I'm just asking why you wouldn't have joined up with them when it would have benefited both parties. I mean, the guy was obviously a jerk with a high sense of entitlement, but the situation would have been avoided by teaming up.

Seps was almost dead and there was no point to party up for the last couple % as I did not have time to stay around for more farming

When he asked me to join I even told the guy that I was unable to and was finishing up as I only needed 2 more seals.

I wouldn't give GM's that much credit by the way. I reported the person and no GM responded. I later got a Help Desk reply saying that even though it might not get a response to use the Contact Support feature in the Help Desk area.
