Now I know there's slim at best chance at SE creating more jobs, but throwing this out there if they do decide to look into ideas for new jobs.There has already been some discussions on Chemist but here's some ideas:

Chemist would use/create temporary items in the field. Items created are based on a JA timer of some sort. That temp item is lost after zoning or maybe after a set time it loses potency.

Chemist could possibly "synth" items and send them to treasure pool to be lotted as needed. (idea to Izual :) )

Either have alchemy craft not effected at all by the job OR revitalize the usage of real potions/ethers etc by allowing the chemist to empower these items. Cause right now they aren't worth the time to use.

Finally, throwing skill and throwing weaponskills. Chemist can throw temp potions or maybe real items at mobs or players to damage/debuff/heal/enhance. Just like FF tactics.
