XInput Grayed out on FFXI Config Tool (Xbox One Controller Not Working)

Details: New hard drive on the computer and starting from scratch. The new install on the FFXI Config tool does not allow me to select the XInput option during the Gamepad configuration piece. Because of this I am not able to properly use my Xbox One Elite controller anymore that worked previously without any issues.
Steps:

1. Open Final Fantasy Config Tool
2. Select Edit Gamepad Option
3. XInput is grayed out

Could install the Xbox 360 Controller Driver, don't know why, but it seems to fix this.
