Mog Locker, Aht Urhgan currency, IS, and you....

So my Mog Locker ran out for the first time today since the last time I stockpiled time in 2008. I'm all for keeping Aht Urhgan areas relevent and all--it's a beautiful expansion. But let's be reasonable here--do we really need to be hassled by Aht Urhgan currency in this instance anymore when SE has been giving us bag after bag of on-character storage? Seems redundant. Bronzepieces are going for about 1k on Carbuncle right now and it just seems kind of odd nobody's mentioned this yet XD. Not really whining or complaining, but curious to know how people feel about this.

It's not really all that hard to get IS though. D:

Example: in Caedarva Mire, Slough Skua are DC-EM up to like 89, and still DC at 90. With Astral Candescence + Sanction + XP band (I know, people still use those!?) I was getting in the 300s per kill. That's 30 IS per, which is 3 coins per two mobs. Honestly, it's not all that hard to build up the IS to get your mog locker running, and I like how it fits with the storyline of the ToAU area. It's your personal locker as a mercenary, and you gotta pay rent on it.

Speaking of which I think mine runs out in August, I should work on extensions...

I'm still sitting on about 60k ISP, but whenever my Alt runs low I just snag a Besieged. It's fairly easy to cap EXP/ISP within about 5 minutes of actually DD'ing there. Then, I can decided whether I want to keep playing around, or just afk in a corner till it ends if I have something else to do. 2k~ish ISP/hr isn't a bad deal at all, really.

That is if you dont want to pay for the cost of a gold coin ... to then convert to bronze pieces >_>


But you know what gold coins are expensive and all right.. maybe do the Odin prime fight and get the gold coin reward from that.. then convert it to bronze pieces...
