disconnect problems

i am having a problem recently, i reformatted my cpu, reloaded my game, with the stuff on the install program, i also changed several settings in game and in control panel to stop my internet disconnecting. i got rid of the lag problem i was having, but now i get the ocassional disconnect. should i change channels on my router which is a brand new router btw.

the error i have been receiving is 9001 (-1)

now i got a ffxi 4001 and a 3100 after the game slowly dropped the send and receive to 0 and disconnected me. this is after i changed my channel to 11. so now i am trying channel 5, just to see if it helps. any ideas let me know.
