Combat Skills Not registering

Hello, I have an issue where my combat skills are not regestering. When equipting an item which says ( for example ) great katana skill +250 parrying skill +250 only the parrying skill is listed as upgraded in combat skills whilst great katana skills are not listed, nor polearm , etc. Please help when available , thank you .

Those skills aren't displayed in the skills menu because the skill only counts for that weapon. You are receiving the effect, it just doesn't show in the menu.

To verify this you can perform the command "/checkparam <me>" and you'll see you are getting the boost.

Weapon skill + on weapons works a little weird. Basically, the bonus only takes place on that weapon's swing. This is so dual-wielding doesn't get an absurd att/acc boost from combat skills (as 1h and 2h get the same boost to combat skill. If they didn't, 1h jobs would be FORCED to dual wield even more than they are).
