Can we get aoe buffs on our avatars?

I don't understand why we can't receive aoe or actually just buffs on our avatars is their any way to incorporate this. Our pets die so fast Protect and Shell could help us a bit, along with Regen and Cures.

More than likely not because of the fact we can replace them so quickly. I would love to copy some stats over to them, but I can't think of how it would work with the constant dismissing/resummoning
