During this last return to vanadiel campaign while I had gotten back on I noticed that server populations are way down, like when I did a world search on Quetzalcoatl it had come back with about 265 people online on the whole server.

I think there is a few servers that are like this and that is probably one of the main reasons why I don't play anymore and only get on during the free log in campaigns, I think another server merge should be getting done. When I had quit playing it was because of the huge drop in the server population and having trouble finding help to do things. I forget what the server population was when I stopped playing but I do a large portion of it was people with 2 or 3 accounts online making up their own personal parties, I remember back when I could do a world search and it would come back with a result of about 5000 people currently online and when I left there was only a fraction of that population left.

A lot of those are multi-box/mules too... I guess if you have 3+ accounts then there is no need to invite other people in..
The other day 1 person (yes one single person) was doing Ambuscade on the whole server.

If you can find a good group, that you do regular stuff with, its all good.. If however, you cant, its a very lonely world.

Yea alot of people multi box especially these days. I know Asura has about 1600-2000 players on it and seems quite active, I made a char there with the spare character slot I had just to check the population there. I would transfer my main character there but I don't want to pay the transfer fee and i shouldn't have to do that to move from a dead server.
