Mog patio change that is sorely needed

Please remove the walls and add a view, even if it's a copy of an old view from the mog gardens.

You made it look like a dang prison cell, seriously... who wants that? Come on guys, you made a great feature and ruined it. Please can a community mod pass on to consider changing this? It's so bad!

Mog patio actually reminds me of a house I inspected in southern Maryland about 10 years ago: their back yard looked exactly like this. It was actually really cool looking with some garden-type decorations.

I believe the term you're looking for to describe mog patio is that it looks like a "prison yard"

I had been hoping it would be tailored to the city and location of the mog houses. Like for Bastok, they'd be terrace alcoves opened up in the cliff face over the Bhefhel Gulf, partially shaded but still grassy, and you can look over the way on either side to see other house patios with NPCs doing things, or maybe neighbors above/below each other using a little pulley and basket to swap cooking ingredients and so on.

Those walls are perfect for running along with a scroll in your mouth saying 'nin-nin'. But other than that brief joy, I do agree that we could use some kind of a view, no matter how basic.
