These items are still seen as premier items (1500 points), to sell lots of alts.
Defending ring is nice and all but it's been milked to death. Isn't it well overdue for some new drops to be added to KB, or some new nms with new drops added?
All those $1 mules that exist just for login points are going to dry up when people get the rings.
You've shown you can make new assets still, with those new cosmetic master trial weapons. Stuff some things like that on kb / cerb?
The last 3-4 login campaigns have been awful, considering how much people are paying it's getting to the point of not being worth it anymore.

Pretty good chance I'll be unsubbing 15 mules this month, there is really nothing on this list worth it. The older ones were a lot better value for money.

If people want to buy alts for this stuff that's up to them, but I don't think it was their intention. I see it as a fun way to encourage people to play their mains more often to keep servers nice and busy. There are already people screaming for blood over the mog wardrobes. Imagine how much worse it would be if everyone needed mules for some super trinket on the login campaign?

While I can't say that my mules (only 2 active) are there specifically for the login points (I do utilize it though), I do agree that the list since the new version of the campaign has been lacking. It was nice to see the Abyssea boss items part of the campaign last month at the very least but if I were to ever get a D Ring, I would have no real reason to care about the points anymore aside novelty items.
Hopefully they will get back to what it was like before with the item selection. I personally liked having the REM chapters available.

1500 login point is reasonable for these so-called premium items and they're great for what they are, especially if you don't have Dring yet. But the login campaigns as a whole have been pretty stale since they tweaked them a few months ago. How can you reasonably expect people to keep their mules active if you don't give them any extra incentive. More likely, people will tighten their belts and ask themselves whether they need additional characters. Oftentimes, the answer will be "no."
I am not reactivating most of my mules after they check their marbles until there is a good gobbie box campaign again... the login campaigns have been pretty lacklustre lately. I like being able to carry points over but it is mostly pointless given that there isn't much to buy with the points. Why the lack of selection all of the sudden?

ikr. I'm probably unsubbing like 6 alts as soon as they announce mog bonanza results.
I came back to the game around the time they were doing the unity login campaign about 3? 4? months back. That was pretty nice stuff. I kind of thought the abjuration key was kind of iffy at best mostly because the cursed items were so pricy.
But the last 2 login campaigns have been pretty awful and the monthly campaigns just havn't worked in my favor. The only thing I found worth spending my login points on were savory shanks (the previous logins I was picking up trusts).
Not willing to keep shelling out money just for an extra chance or 2 at savory shanks and not like my level 1 mules would have level 75 gear let along 99 or i119 that most of the more recent events are catering to.
Part of me wonders if they feel justified in these awful rewards simply because alot of us have mules at inv +10 marbles. e-e;
Why the lack of selection all of the sudden?
I guess when they decided login points could be carried over, they also decided that still providing many and nice reward options for logging in was WAY too "imbalanced"

I already deactivated 4 out of 5 mules this week as my sub renews in the first week of the month, but made sure to write down my mog bonanza lotto numbers before so I know weather
I won something on them. The only reason I had that many mules was because of the login campaigns and the gobbey box. I already have a D-ring and nothing else really interests me anymore.

Suggestion: the 1k points item should be a "Abdhaljs seal" and you can send them to your main from alts.
Abdhaljs seal is the thing that gives you thrice the reward total from Ambuscade (so 300 from a normal run instead of 100 etc), for those that don't remember the name.

I'm not saying that I disagree with the point that log-in campaigns mostly suck now, but man can we tone down the drama? I know you want SE to feel as though they are losing money, but are you REALLY unsubscribing mules just because of log-in woes? If thats all you use your mules for, shame on you. How about maxing another craft, holding your extra junk you are hoarding, and building extra bayld through coalition ops so you can buy high-purity bayld? How about paying attention to a mules mog garden so you can level those extra crafts easier? If you are just using a mule for log-ins then you are missing out.

I have over 20 level 1 mules (And I used to have twice that amount) that exist purely for the login events and gobbie box things, Square encouraged me to do this in order to maximise my chance of getting good items (with no level restriction on participation). So if they are now offering me no value for money over and over I'm going to unsub them and so are a lot of others, I'm just giving the courtesy of saying why I'm doing it.
I'm lazy and wanted to give them some leeway so it took 3-4 poor login events in a row to finally get me to want to do this (and I'm waiting till 15th now to do so), they will have an almost impossible task to get me to resub after this as opposed to how easy it would of been to pander to my lazyness and give me at least a decent reason to keep them subbed.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I only need like 7 to 8 characters MAX to get all the crafts and have enough storage for hoarded materials. I don't even need them at maxed job to cap out crafting (should I eventually choose to) Everything else was to maximize the login and campaign bonuses and moogle bonanzas. So that's like half my stable of characters going to waste now.
