Can this relic get an adjustment one way or the other. Meaning, can it get mage stats such as MAB/Macc, or if you prefer it to be a SMN staff geared towards that.

As it stands, it is good for nothing. It is outclassed by many mage staves for BLM, it is outclassed by many staves for Melee, and it is outclassed for many staves for SMN. So, can this get some sort of use?

Most of the mage REM weapons need an overhaul if you ask me. SMN and WHM dont get TP in normal party situations, so we don't get the aftermath effects. The stats on some, like you've pointed out, are easily outclassed by some escha staves. Its like little to no thought was put into them when they made them 119, which was a great time to modify them.
