Alter Ego: Valaineral Acquisition (Return to Vanadiel Campaign)

I am trying to complete all the Basic Tutorial Records of Eminence to unlock the Intermediate ones and I didn't acquire Trust: Valaineral back in the New Years Alter Ego Extravaganza. I can't summon him, so I can't complete the RoE. Is there an alternate way to get him? I already checked to see if I could buy him with Allied Notes to no avail.

You should have acquired the Cipher: Valaineral by completing the Tutorial -> Basics -> Call Forth an Alter Ego quest that granted you access to the one you're currently on. If your inventory was full when you completed that quest simply open up your Quest menu again, select Current under Records of Eminence, scroll down until you find "Call Forth an Alter Ego" and select it to accept your reward. Trade that Cipher to Gondebaud, Clarion Star or Wetata and you'll be able to summon Valaineral.
