View Full Version : Get disconnected when trying to log in to server

Details:
I am unable to log in to FINAL FANTASY XI. Started about 10:30AM CT 4/2 after changing areas to Bhaflau Thickets. Every time I try to log in, I receive the same “FFXI-3001 No response from server.” error about 2 minutes after I make an attempt. I have tried resetting my DSL modem and restarting the PC.

Steps:

Experienced the following error while changing areas to Bhaflau Thickets in FINAL FANTASY XI.
Attempted to log back in immediately after the game crash by restarting the game.
Received the same error about 2 minutes after I attempted to log in.

No response from server.
Connection timed out.
Press OK to shut down.

Gave about 5 tries but the result was the same.

Platform: PC

I am having the same issue. I am however able to log into my mule's character and zone rather smoothly.

Started doing this to me when I Homepoint warped from Port Jueno to Western Adoulin. Got a black zone screen and thought it was just that i dc'd. tried to log back in and couldn't get passed the same screen. logged int to a ault on Carbuncle server and zoned and everything was fine. Tried again and no luck :[ Any solutions yet?

I am also having the same issue zoning into Misareaux coast via the home point. My mule can zone just fine.

Still no response from Tech support on the ticket I put in. If anyone else has info on where to put in a ticket for this please post it here. Used the SE Website to put in my ticket through account management. Think I put a ticket in around 11:30pm EST, 4 hours ago ish.

Unable to log in to FFXI. After selecting character I get a black Downloading Data screen, and then FFXI-3001 error which returns me to Final Fantasy XI title screen.

The character experiencing this error logged out inside Bastok Mog House, after zoning into the Mog House from Port Bastok.

My second character on the same account can log in with no issues, and also logged out inside Bastok Mog House, although my second character entered the Mog House from Bastok Mines.

I am having the same problem as welll. I was using my warp ring and while it was zoning, the error notice came up. I am new to all of this. Do we need to put in a ticket? If so, can someone tell me how? Thanks.

I am having the same issue I opened a ticket on my mule. Mule is able to zone smoothly

I have been having the same problem since this morning. It starting working again for about an hour and now it is back to the same problem.

Same problem here. Logged in earlier today, zoned into Mog Garden, got stuck on downloading data until error code FFXI-3001 came up. Logging back in results in same error code.

It has now happened on one of my other chars. I have my main and my mule both stuck and I cannot log in as them. GM tells me I need to wait until Monday to get an answer. I'm either getting a refund for this month or cancelling my account.

My first log in went fine, until i tried to zone out of my mog house, then same thing stuck in data loading until error code. That was 11 am cst today, since then many people who could log into their acct cant now or are stuck in loading data screens.

This seems to be a widespread issue as multiple people have been experiencing this. I was able to get around it by changing my IP address when shutting down PC/ then swapping around router but doing missions such as Cavernous Maws meant lots of zoning and I would just get stuck in a loop war of shutting down etc. It's clearly on SE's side at this point and the rest of us will just have to wait it out. o/

Its stinks but last i was told the ticket system is not a 24 hour system.

Lets hope that they changed that thought.

Unable to log into final fantasy error in pol 0206 been having this error for more than 4 hours.(personally but this issue has been going on for days.) This is unacceptable service being provided. I hope it gets solved quickly as it is more than just aggravating being unable to connect to a game you pay for, but if you were already logged in you can stay connected. I would understand if the issue was keeping the whole server down but it is not and being that many are able to log on but not all it seems this issue is not being addressed with the urgency it should be.

At least this just went up earlier today, looks like they are aware of it now.
