Game Error download

hi, i just recently purchased the xbox 360 slim and i have the TAU disc which for some reason will not play my system. when i press play i get "The game is not supported, please update." I dont get to the playonline screen at all. ive contacted xbox live but they referred me to the SE website. I was playing on my old xbox 360 for years and it finally went out on me. i got the xbox 360 slime the next day and no go with ffxi so please any info would be great.

I would recontect live support and make sure it's not a firmware issue. As in how a 360 is "backwards compatable" but they left out a few games from being able to do so. Microsolf likes to give people the brush off. Of course SE likes to do the same.
