Details:
When I zone my character into Escha-Zi'tah, i error out of the game and any attempt to reconnect on that character with my wired internet connection fails with error FFXI-3001. Occasionally when reopening PlayOnline I also experience POL-0011 error during log-in. I also occasionally receive error FFXI-3100 when PlayOnline transitions to the FFXI client.
These errors only occur on my home internet. If I connect my PC to my phones wireless internet via bluetooth tether, I am able to move my character out of Escha-Zi'tah after which point I can log back into my character on my home internet, but if I rezone into Escha-Zi'tah on my homes internet the errors return.
Steps:
1. Zone into Escha Zi'tah while connected to my modems internet connection.
2. Receive a Now loading... Screen for approximately 60 seconds.
3. Close out of FFXI
4. Open Play Online and attempt to log in, Occasionally producing Error POL-0011 (NOT 100% of the time)
5. Occasionally make it far enough in the Playonline client to cause FFXI to open, Occasionally resulting in error FFXI-3100.
6. Continue cycling through previous errors until I get to the character select screen, at which point 100% of the time it hangs for 60 seconds before error FFXI-3001 appears.
