Why name the staff Eminent when it clearly looks like the staff I had for the last 13 levels?
I was very unimpressed with the weapon design in this game, even moreso after seeing my "Eminent Staff"
On the lighter side of things, I just hit 99 BLM.
What did you expect from a 12 year old game that just reskins everything? The only *good* looking weapons are "special". Generic things that everyone can get for free are always meh.

I know, but I was really thinking it would not be the same exact model as my previous staff.

Eminent gear isn't meant to look good. It's supposed to be a temporary holdover until you can get a 119 weapon.

I have it glamoured as my Iridal Staff. I have a "style" equipment set and a "stats" one, and my macro is something like
/equipset 1
/lockstyleset 9

Hi Jewelfox,
How do I do glamour? what is the 1 and the 9?
Also, anyone know if there are any full length hooded robes in the game to glamour with? Or easy to get staffs and two handed swords? :)

You may not be finding information on glamour in FFXI because it isn't called glamour. It's called lockstyle.

If you aren't sure how to make equipsets, there's info here: http://ffxiclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Equipment_Set_Macros
In Jewelfox's example, /equipset 1 actually equips the gear in her equipment set 1.
/lockstyleset 9 will lockstyle or "glamour" the gear in her equipment set 9.
Keep in mind that you do need to be able to equip a piece of gear on one of your jobs in order to lockstyle it.
