FFXi Jig saw puzzle

I imported the puzzle and I thought it was supposed to come with a code for an in game item since it is a limited edition item. but it never did. I see it is sold out everywhere and no plans to make more.

from what I was reading, the code for this and the book that goes with it are sent directly to the people who ordered it from the Japanese Square Enix Store page. If you didn't order it from there, you are not going to get the codes. given that the Japanese Square Enix store locks out people from doing transactions if you are not from Japan, you probably didn't get it from there. I've tried buying from there before and it wouldn't let me because it detected I was from a foreign IP address. I might have a way to get stuff now on there but I don't have a Japanese credit card to buy anything. crysta was not listed on the item I wanted.

You probably need to be talking to who ever you bought it from for the code.

from what I can make of that, the codes were a pre-order bonus sent by email

I got it from play asia but I just assumed they got there stock directly from SE

I edited my post above with the translation from the square enix e-store info from the book. using google cromes translate feature.

I imported the book from play-asia and the codes are in a sealed insert on the back inside cover. I was unable to get the puzzle so I can't say where that code would be.

The codes that were sent by email were for those that preordered both the puzzle and the book, they had a special campaign that if you bought both you'd get an extra rainbow mog pell and a red mog pell.

The codes for the green stained glass window and the rainbow mog pell should be in there.

no codes inside the box. in the box all there is. is the puzzle peices. a package of glue and and peice of plastic to spread the glue There is a peice of paper but I see no codes on it. I am not sure what paper says since I do not understand japanese


hmm i just had a thought what if code printed on puzzle peices and have to solve the puzzle to get the code? @.@

If you have a smartphone download google translate and you can take pictures of the paper and translate it.

cool I did that and the peice of paper is a post card for sending away for a replacment peice if you loose a peice. no code on it for a ingame item :/

Are you sure its not an envelope with a cut line, that the codes are inside it? That's how it is for the book.

I received the memorial book and the jigsaw puzzle from PlayAsia this morning.
I found the code in the book but the code in the puzzle is indeed nowhere to be found :/

I called SE today and asked them about it the girl I talk to was awsome she told me to talk to play asia or contact the SE JP. She thought it was weird there was no code

Which is all the more reason it should have been released in the US in an official capacity. If you sold out your limited supply so fast, it doesn't take a master's degree in marketing to see that you could sell them out here too.

yep and along with that make a english version of the memorial book. it would be fantastic if they did that.

Why exactly was the code not included to begin with? Like the other two memorial items?

We've always been able to get these items by importing them. This seems like a huge oversight on SE's part. Especially since this mosaic puzzle was widely publicized (we were able to submit images for it). It's bad enough that you sell it in Japan only, but you don't include the code in the same fashion like you do with everything else really does slight us a bit.

So the official answer is on an online game where people all over the world play together there are items that you can pay money for that jp onry? Doesn't seem like a great idea for a game in it's twilight. Missing out on most your market base

Well if you really want one, you could buy the book or the blu ray music cd from a 3rd party seller, ie ebay. They come with "rainbow mog pells" which one of the redeemable items is the Tital Talisman. But if your acutally after the Leviathan pendant(real item) and tidal talisman you're probably out of luck.

I actually have both the real Tidal Talisman necklace and the in game Tidal Talisman wardrobe. Although when I bought the Tidal Talisman I had hoped I could get the in-game Tidal Talisman wardrobe for both characters upon receiving my rewards code for use with characters. After I had gained the in game Talisman wardrobe, I found out it's mostly one directional with only a few that run both directions between the cities. In fact, I hardly use it to the point at times I wonder why I bought it in the first place but I think it's mostly due to forgetting all too often that I even have it on my Yogorock character when I'm heading between those cities listed on it but the other bit of it is that being so many easier ways to travel since its release which is actually probably the more major reason I'm not using it much but I'm just saying it Olor. :D ;)
