Unity chat cutting in and out

Steps

Step 1: Have unity chat on

Step 2: Talk in unity chat and see that I'm in it verifying other characters can see my chat

Step 3: wait awhile and notice no unity chat messages after awhile even though I haven't zoned and/or no notices that chat has dropped.

Step 4: Verify with others in same unity that chat is indeed happening.


Alternatively

Step 1: Be talking in unity chat and seeing other people talking

Step 2: Have other members in the same unity that I am chatting with tell me they see the message from the unity leader but I don't

Edit: Should also note that there no longer is any you are not in chat message anymore so you don't even know you are missing things. And the unity leader dragon messages actually matter. I suggest making them more system wide since they are basically like campaign messages

I've had this happen as well. It's very frustrating when you miss the dragon messages!
