Thread Title: Incorrect XP received if not wearing any item that is above level 99

Platform: Windows

ISP: ComCast

Type of Internet Connection: CATV

Internet Connection Speed:5Mbit/s

Date & Time: Mountain Time 4:00am 11/11/2015

Frequency: Always

Character Name: Msviller

Race: Mithra

World: Shiva

Main Job: 99 Thief

Support Job: Dancer

Area and Coordinates: Esha - Ru'Ann I-9

Party or Solo:Party three human payers Three Trust PCs

NPC Name:None

Monster Name: Eshan Phuabo

Steps: Anytime I was not wearing any Item over level 99. I, received far less XP then the rest of the party. (2-4k a kill less)

Once I equipped any item "one or more" over 99 and leave it on during the entire battle I received the correct XP that the other members of party was receiving.

I first noticed this on WHM and decided to figure out why I was receiving lesser XP.

After many Equipment changes I realized in order to gain full XP from battle I had to have at least one item on over level 99.

To test this I had to switch to Thief. (only job I have level 100+ armor for)

That's not actually a bug. It's standard level difference. It's why, if you change your gear, an enemy may go from checking as IT to VT or even just T; your item level is your effective level, and as a result, by dropping it you enforce the usual level difference penalty. It's like back in the day if you had a guy 10+ levels below the rest of the party, his EXP would get gimped severely.

There's no EXP difference for level 100-119, and they have stated this. You get level 117 armor for free from Records of Eminence, so there's no reason that you shouldn't be wearing iLevel armor if you are level 99. You get enough sparks from doing the objectives as you level to get all 3 sets to cover all jobs, so it's a bit unbelievable that you had nothing iLevel to wear on a job.
