So idk if this idea was thrown out there but, what do you think of adding a subjob for a subjob system. I think it'd add a more personalyzed way of playing the game.for example: DRK99/SAM49/NIN24. Just like how we had to wait until lvl18 before we got the option to use a subjob, the same requirement can be set for a third job. Lvl99 quest for example. I know not everyone would be on the same side of the fence on this but any input would great. Share why or why not that this would be an interesting addition to everything we know about our jobs.

Why stop there when you could have a subjob for subjobs subjob.

Personally I like the mix match system that FF5, FF7, FF9, and FF14 all incorporate. You equip abilities and spells you want from other classes with limitations on how many and which ones you can use. I would love to pull healing abilities from some while not giving up the damage dealing abilities of others, but allowing that kind of flexibility would throw off game balance.

I'd rather see SJs getting uncapped eventually. Someone way back in the day also had a good suggestion that you'd get a universal bonus for leveling a job. Say you have War, Thf, Blm, and Pld leveled you get +2% DA, +5 eva, +3 MAB, and +5 vit to every max level job.
How about a subjob level selection system instead of a subjob for subjob. Maybe at level 99, you have 60 subjob levels to choose from, and can only take 49 levels from any one job. So in theory, lvl99 Job A could choose 25 levels of Job B and 35 levels of job C as their subjob levels. Or 45 and 15, 49 and 11, 30 and 30. Or even 20 20 and 20. 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, and 10. No limit to the number of jobs you can choose to support your main job, just a limit on the levels you can choose.

As a DRG, subsubs would be cool: DRG/SAM/BLU I would basically never need to switch jobs. XD might confuse my wyvern, but he's a big boy by now.
However, that shows the 'weakness' to the idea - the purpose of subs and the job system is to foster cooperation and filling a role, rather than being able to do everything yourself. Sure, soloing is possible, but choices still need to be made as things stand right now.

I like this idea. Rather than stats I'd rather see job abilities and traits, though.
Something like a new group of merits with 20 options, one per job, that you can only merit if you have that job at 75 or 99. Regular limits for meriting them, say you can put 5 merits on each 1 to obtain and 4 to enhance it, and you only have 20 merits to spread. So you could merit every single one of them or you could max out 4 of them, for example.
I'd mainly like to see it as abilities and traits as it would be more like FFV. Say Dragoon gets Lancet (at long last) which deals damage and absorbs HP and MP, would have been great for mages.

Only because that /WAR would always be just 1 away from a 10% boost to my double attack rate!
