There is now a crown icon appearing over some of the forum topics...

Does anybody know what it means...

I searched a few of the different forum sections and couldn't find any information and I dont feel like going sherlock holmes through every thread to figure it out >_>

I'm guessing that it indicates that a Dev, GM, and/or Community Representative has posted in any topics adorned with a crown.

I'd assume its something along those lines also

Probably directly brought about by a particular thread, in an effort to make it more visible that SE and their employees/affiliates do care, and to shut somebody up. >_>

Off topic, I haven't seen any new posts, did they get banned?

With the threads that Development and Operation Teams have made a comment on, a crown logo will appear on top of thread icon.

Its a Sign that a Dev/Community Rep has posted in that thread.

Its in the "Blah blah Forum Update" Thread thats been posted. If you look to the right of the main page, theres a "Dev tracker" you can see the Update-Note Topic :)!

Now they just need to run into one of my posts and explain why spirits are forgotten and ignored.

Looks like not, found their profile. This deserves a sadface minus.

:( -

However, SE directly shooting down one of the "conspiracy theories" gets a super happy face plus.

:D +

Correct, it is when reps, devs., etc. make a post. (As you will now notice after my posting this that there is a crown on this thread too :) )

In case you didn't see, here (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/4868-NA-Forum-Features-Updated-%28Apr.-7%29) is a new thread with recent forum feature updates.

While this a cool tag added to immediately identify threads responded by community reps and devs I am still concerned on criteria for threads to be responded. There are several threads which got response only due to high number of post replies but there are also threads with great ideas overlooked because of low post volume. Although it is perfectly fine to address ones with most activity first to respond to a majority concern can it be thought over on what to do for the minority :)? I think a simple response that idea/suggestion noted is satisfying enough. I understand community reps efforts to try to review every thread however some shed in light would be nice assuring that low post threads are not ignored would be much appreciated.

Thank you and keep up the great work!

What would be sweet is if you clicked the crown icon and it jumped you to the first Dev reply in that thread. Some of these posts have 22 pages of reply's. I would be interested in what the Dev has to say but not enough to scan 22 pages of reply's to find where they posted hoping I don't miss it from scanning to fast.

The Dev Tracker button at the top of the page will show you a list of each post (possibly edit, not sure about that) that any Dev, Mod (GM), or Community Rep has posted.

I wouldn't say it is fine, I'd say it is understandable. Kind of like rich getting richer and poor getting poorer. While logical, it does not mean it is right.

If they only went for popular threads, they'd only end up responding to things with popular jobs. Like SAM, which everyone plays, would get more updates. While jobs like BST that nobody plays, would get none.

Tried this, pretty cool, is there a way to limit the ones i see to English I still got like 5 pages of crap to look threw most in languages I don't speak?
